Labs

It is highly recommended, but not required, to have the results of the following test before your first appointment:

For Moms to be

Acupuncture Fertility Center of Rocklin

Recommended blood tests

  • FSH (cycle day 2 or 3)

  • LH (cycle day 2 or 3)

  • E2 (cycle day 2 or 3)

  • AMH

  • TSH

  • Prolactin

  • Vitamin D

  • Mid-Luteal Progesterone (around cycle day 21)

  • Testosterone (free and total)

  • DHEA-S

It is also strongly recommended to have the following diagnostic imaging done at a fertility clinic

  • HSG (hysterosalpingogram)

  • AFC (antral follicle count)

For Dads to be

  • Testosterone (male, total)

Recommended test

  • Semen analysis (It is recommended that semen sample be collected after a minimum of 2 days and a maximum of 7 days of sexual abstinence).
